The core of the iMambo program is the Mambo Communications Manager (MCM), a server-side application for use online, much the same as a website.
The system offers three primary functions:
The following is a cursory look at the basic functions of the system’s seven main working areas:
QUEUES:The Queue section lists and manages inbound inquiries, usually a form submission from your website. Incoming messages are stored, tracked and managed here and can be distributed throughout your organization using the Message Manager. Several Queues can be setup. Search and archive features help in managing messages. All incoming messages are given tracking numbers and message strings can be tracked. |
MAIL CENTER:Here you create and manage your mailing lists and send out mail. Import and export features are used for building lists. Lists are also automatically populated through form submissions, such as a Newsletter subscription. The Send page allows you to post-date a send. Pre-scripted HTML message templates make it easy to manage your mailings and all your literature is available for attachment delivery.
|
MEDIA CENTER:In the Media Center you upload and manage the marketing collateral used in your account, which includes Scripts, Literature, Images and Videos. Some of these materials will be associated with campaigns such as auto-response scripts and literature distributed through inquiries. Videos can be assigned to your iMambo Player and images can be assigned to your signature file or iMambo player. Other media can be uploaded to your media library for possible future use. |
CONTACTS:Your master contact database is organized here. Records can be added or deleted, imported and exported. Contact records are automatically generated for every inquiry coming into the system, making list building from your website automatic. Email addresses are automatically verified and marked valid or invalid. The system will not mail to an invalid record. |
SETUP: This section handles the organization of your campaign setups, creating and modifying queues, forms and messages; uploading marketing literature; creating custom data fields in the contact list; assigning customer service representatives and creating new message scripts; and managing signature files and content in the iMambo Player.
|
REPORTS:Your reports show activity on your account, messages in and out, subscribe status and mail-to lists. Reports are by day, week, month and total-to- date. Graphs are automatically generated for a view of current activity.
