The Strut Process
- STRATEGY
The first step is deciding what you’re going to Strut. Because in all things marketing, everything flows from the Strategy. In other words, what plan do you have to leave your viewers with a fresh, positive opinion of your company and its services?
- CAMPAIGN
Once you have your strategy, you’ll know which tools you need to manage inquiries and responses, capture data, build lists and distribute information within your organization. Strut’s marketing pros can recommend the best campaign settings to keep these elements organized.
- THE SCRIPT
Next you’ll need an interesting, engaging 30 to 90 second written presentation. Writing advertising copy for a Strut video is very different from the longhand prose used in a blog or user guide. We can synthesis your message into a tight, effective script with a “call to action” that invites your viewers to take that next important step in the selling process.
- TALENT
An effective, likeable presenter is vitally important, because it's not as easy as it looks. When your company is represented by an outsider, the right chemistry is absolutely essential.

- PRODUCTION
A Strut video must be filmed in a studio equipped with a Green Screen background, a high definition camera and proper lighting. This allows us to “key out” the green background and let the presentation ‘float” over your webpage. We offer this technology in our studio, but we can arrange production in a studio near you, if necessary.
- POST PRODUCTION AND ENCODING
When filming is completed we remove the green background (to make it I invisible on your site) and add titles, roll-over images, linked hot spots and animations to enhance the visuals and encode it into our Strut technology. The final video streams from our servers to ensure that you receive a quality picture, plus all the Strut player’s campaign and reporting functions.
- POSTING YOUR STRUT TO YOUR SITE
Next, we deliver a few lines of HTML code that must be entered into your website’s source code. It’s a simple process that a competent web master will have no problem following. Also included are setup instructions, along with a sample page showing how the deployed Strut should look on your site. Should any problems arise, our Techies will attend to it immediately.
- REPORTING AND CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT
Your Strut video presentation includes an iMambo Marketing Management account and login access that allows you to view your campaign reports. It outlines the effectiveness of your Strut campaign; how many times it’s been viewed, the average view times, and the number of visitors who clicked through to submit a request. Campaign settings can be adjusted here as well, and our support department will give your team an account orientation in the use of these features. Reports and campaign measurements are the life-blood of the modern marketer.
